Advantage Marketing Associates (AMA) was formed in early 1993 as a manufacturer's representative to serve the electronics industry in Upstate New York. The company was formed to provide sales growth at key accounts where customer and principal relationships are established and can be grown. New accounts and opportunities are expected and are always near-term goals. AMA has carefully selected products that allow us to become an integral part of our customers early design stages. By being involved in the early system definition and having previous business at our major accounts, we can easily gain access to further opportunities.

Service Objectives
  • Learn products to engineering level
  • Design-in products with engineers on new, upgrade and support programs
  • Know and work with purchasing and component engineering
  • Know marketplace, sales opportunities, and maintain contacts to provide future sales
  • Provide tracking reports to meet principals requests
  • Negotiate purchase orders; assist post sales support
  • Manage Distribution where applicable; assist design-ins; motivate product line interest, assist purchase orders for new and continuing business
